6th International Conference on Raman Spectroscopy Applied to the Earth and Planetary Sciences June 6-11, 2004, Honolulu, Hawai'i, USA The first GEORAMAN conference outside Europe will be held at the Hawai'i Imin International Conference Center (1777 East-West Road, Honolulu, HI 96822). The Conference Center is a part of the East-West Center and is located on the Manoa Campus of the University of Hawai'i (marked on maps as Jefferson Hall, the old name for the Imin Center ). There will be welcome reception from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, June 6 for all registered participants in the Ilima Room of the Radisson Waikiki Prince Kuhio Hotel (2500 Kuhio Ave). Technical meetings will be held at the Conference Center (also known as Jefferson Hall) from Monday, June 7 to Thursday, June 10, 2004. A final conference program in PDF format is available for participants. Friday, June 11 is reserved for a field trip to the scenic Southeast side of O'ahu. The optional field trip to the Big Island of Hawai'i will take place on Saturday, June 12. The conference dinner will be on Thursday evening, June 10. Passport and Visa Requirements Participants requiring a visa should apply immediately to the consular offices of the US Embassy or Consulate in their country in order to avoid delay in travel to the Conference.
