Aims

Special topics and themes of the meeting will include traditional GEORAMAN topics such as Raman applications to geosciences, ambient and high-pressure mineralogy including structural and thermodynamics applications; petrology and geochemistry; astrobiology and space science applications; terrestrial Mars analogues; meteorites; and advanced Raman and IR instrumentation with particular application to planetary exploration, and art and archaeology using portable and remote Raman systems.

New applications of Raman Spectroscopy will be welcome, especially forensic science applications, environmental studies including biomineralisation processes, pollution monitoring, and in situ submarine Raman analysis.
